Deepa is a 2nd year student from a low income family studying in PESIT Engineering college in Bangalore. Her mother is a helper in a school and her father is a weaver. Her parents have taken a high interest loan and somehow managed to pay for her education, but are finding it hard to put together the fees for the next few years. Deepa has scored 87% in SSLC and completed diploma in Computer engineering from HEA College. She needs Rs 80,000 towards her 3rd year’s fees to be able to continue her education. Background checks have been done about her family and college.
